Meet Ms. Kamphaus
Here's a little about me...
I grew up in Oklahoma and went to the University of Oklahoma for undergrad. I received my degree in Letters (a mix of Latin, philosophy, history, and English). I worked at nonprofits for a bit before deciding to become a teacher. My mom taught for years (and her mother and father before that), so teaching might just be genetic! I received my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas in 2009. This is my eighth year teaching and my fourth year at Galindo. I am so excited to see our fourth graders grow and excel this year!
Some of my favorite things...
Book: The BFG and Crenshaw
Hobbies: I like to read, try new recipes, play with my dog Guthrie
Food: Too many to name! But I LOVE breakfast tacos and peanut butter cups
